Meet JoJo!
My name is JOJO and I’m a boy. My mom tells me that I am the reason the mobile petting zoo started. She told me that when she adopted me from Muddy Boots Farm that people would reach out to her and ask if she didn’t horse rides for kids. She didn’t at the time but thought, well why not? And here we are! I am able to ride children of 50 pounds and below because I am a mini horse, NOT A PONY. Sometimes my mom will dress me up as a unicorn for little girls, I feel like I look silly but I love putting smiles on their faces! I am 7 years old and full grown. My best friend is waffles the donkey, although he does drive me crazy sometimes.
Please remind your loved ones the golden rule with horses no matter the size, NEVER WALK/RUN BEHIND A HORSE. It scares us and sometimes we get spooked and kick, with no intentions of hurting anyone. Although I’m a good boy and don’t do it, please always follow that rule!
Meet Stanley!
My name is Stanley also known as Stan the man or Stan the handsome man and I am a mini zebu cow. I was born December 27th, 2023 at muddy boots farm. My mommy bottle fed me, so now I am always up her butt (as she says) I am definitely her favorite, but just dont tell the others. I shouldn’t get too much bigger than JOJO. I have a very ruff tongue and often times kids think I’m biting at them, which I promise I’m not, it’s just my tongue. Plus fun fact, I only have bottom teeth and not top teeth! I love coming to events and getting carrots and pets!
Meet Marjorie!
Hi my name is Marjorie aka Marge. My mom said that I got my name from her grandma. I am large and definitely in charge. I was born February 8th, 2023 , also at muddy boots farm. I am a Nigerian dwarf goat! I was a bottle baby too and my mommy used to put me In a diaper and onesie and take me everywhere! My mommy says I am bad because I don’t like to stay in pins at events, I know how to jump out of them, so I usually just run around and do my own thing. I am disbudded meaning I don’t have horns, my mom said she had to get the, removed because she didn’t want me to head butt any kids, but do you think something as cute as me would do such a thing? Also if you get up from your seat around d me, I’ll probably take it! Goats also only have bottom teeth and not top teeth. I also have 4 stomachs, isn’t that cool?!
Meet Maggie!
My name is Maggie aka Maggie moooo. I was born February 18th, 2024. I am a Nigerian dwarf goat. I was a bottle baby too from muddy boots farm and got to wear diapers and onesies and sleep in the bed with my mommy! She had to kick me outside once I figured out how to jump onto the kitchen counter then onto the top of the fridge and eat all the bread! She originally got me because Marge wouldn’t stay inside the pins at events but guess what I DONT EITHER!!! So now mom is stuck with both of us being bad. I know she loves it though!! So you’ll usually seeing me running around and hanging around the area at events too, I won’t run off because I am a mom as girl . Sometime Marge and I will get along but most the time we like to head but each other and not listen. Watch out for your cars because I like to jump on them!!
